Wonderful selection of vegan pastries and sandwiches. Had the black and blue scone (alright, maybe scones aren't my thing?), chocolate raspberry muffin (awesome!), barracuda cupcake (so! much! chocolate!), zucchini loaf (pretty good), banana loaf (delicious), awesomes (could've had a whole box of these! Dang!), orange cardamom coffee cake (yum!). Service was friendly and fast. Will be back next time I visit!

Pushkin's Bakery has been a meaningful place for me for a long time. I’ve had a gluten allergy for nearly two decades, and when they first opened, I would literally drive two hours just to get a sandwich and some pastries. At the time, they filled a huge gap and made gluten-free food feel exciting and accessible in a way that just didn’t exist locally. Because of that, I really want to love everything they do. Now that I'm a local there are some clear standouts that I come back for, especially the zucchini bread and the mudpie cookie. Those are genuinely excellent, not just “good for gluten-free.” That said, the experience has been mixed over the years. I’ve found some of the savory options, like the lasagna and chicken sandwich, to be under-seasoned and bland. On the flip side, many of the pastries and their bread lean overly sweet, to the point where it can feel unbalanced. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was a cake we purchased for our wedding. It was so dry it was essentially inedible, which was a bummer given how much I wanted that moment, and that product, to live up to what the bakery represents. I still respect what Pushkin’s has built and how important it is

I LOVE ❤️ Pushkins. I frequent all their locations because I am a celiac. I love a half mile away from the 29th Street location. I have been going for YEARS. Today is the first time I ever had an issue. I purchased 12 cupcakes. I had originally ordered 10 but the attendant named Lilly accidentally charged me for 12…. So I said ok, put the extra cupcakes in my order. I carefully arranged the bag on the floor of my vehicle surrounded by towels, as I know these cupcakes are fragile. I have purchased them MANY times before. At home, I looked into the boxes and all but three were completely out of their slots and the frosting had slid off. This has never happened to me. I paid over $50 for the 12 cupcakes and they were going to be in a church party. I returned immediately to either get new cupcakes or my $ refunded. Lily pushed back and kept saying I could not get anything refunded nor any new product because she “packed them well” and claimed I saw this. I did see them in the box but how could I know if they were deeply set in their slots? Another attendant named Lindsey jumped in. She repeatedly claimed that this was my fault in that I drove them apparently without care, which is not

First time trying a gluten-free pastry at a cafe and I was pleasantly surprised! We found everything to be delicious, including the sandwiches. The service was wonderful, the person at the front desk was so kind. Highly recommend giving this spot a chance!

The gentleman running the front counter was so chipper and friendly. It was a great way to start my Friday morning. I absolutely loved the variety of baked goods. I was having a conference with my staff and needed Vegan pastries. Definitely a place you to get there early, some items were already sold out.
